Young Cancer Survivors

Meet, Mingle, and Learn: Young Cancer Survivor Events

stock photo resizedThe Beyond Pink TEAM is committed to meeting the needs of young cancer survivors in Eastern Iowa. We recognize that when a young woman is diagnosed, her life is complicated by many factors: her job, her children, her finances, her self image as a woman, and her hope for her future.

Young Cancer Survivors meet from 4:30 – 7:00 p.m. the third Tuesday of  January, April, June and September.
Check the Young Cancer Survivor’s Facebook page often and see what fun and informational events we have planned to get the young survivors in our community connected.

These free Open House style events are open to all young women living with any type of cancer diagnosis. Meet, Mingle, and Learn Open Houses begin with facilitated discussion tables.  An educational speaker presents at 6 p.m. There is plenty of time to meet, mingle, and learn with others who have been in your shoes. A light supper is provided by Panera Bakery.
